Ensemble Theatre: Grey Gardens To Open 2008-09 Season
Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati will open its 2008-2009 Season with the regional premiere of the fun and eccentric Broadway smash hit musical, Grey Gardens, with book by Doug Wright (author of I Am My Own Wife).

Scripps-Corbett Awards issues call for nominations from community
A 33-year tradition of honoring the contributions that individuals, businesses and arts organizations have made to the cultural advancement of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky will continue in 2008.
The Post-Corbett Awards, started in 1975 by The Cincinnati Post and The Kentucky Post, will become the Scripps-Corbett Awards this year.
The E. W. Scripps Company, which has assumed responsibility for the prestigious awards program, today issued a call to the community for nominations.

The Kenton County Public Library invites you to Laugh Out Loud @ your Library when the Northern Kentucky Storytelling Festival,presented by Fischer Homes, takes on a new form for 2008. This year the Library and Fischer Homes are spreading the fun over three months with nationally-known comic storytellers at the Erlanger Branch. The series will include performances for families and kids of all ages and there will be a very special performance on Friday nights just for adults. Registration begins Monday January 21 for the first ever Cinciditarod, produced by Fountain Square Management Group.
Cinciditarod is named for, and a tribute to, the Iditarod, a brutal 1,000 mile dog-sled race in Alaska. So how does Cinciditarod work? Well instead of dogs, it's people, and instead of sleds, it's decorated shopping carts, and instead of Alaska, it's Cincinnati!

Xavier Players Present “Hot ‘n’ Throbbing”
Xavier graduate and director Erin Mattingly Bukowski and the Xavier Players present Paula Vogel’s play, Hot ‘n’ Throbbing, February 7-10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Gallagher Student Center Studio Theatre on the University campus. There will be a viewing of the documentary film “Killing Us Softly” on February 4 from 3:00-4:00 pm at the Xavier Women’s Center at 1415 Dana Avenue. The documentary is free. Tickets to the play are $3.00 for students, faculty and staff and $5.00 for all others. Tickets are available by calling the Players box office at 513 745-3939.
