Company: The World Piano Competition,Inc. of Cincinnati Job Title: Executive Administrative Assistant Status: Part-time (30 hours/wk; Monday-Thursday) Description The Administrative Assistant will assist the Competition Registrar and PR & Event Manager including:
  • Press, publicity,and general PR
  • Coordinating staff duties/assignments
  • Scheduling and planning of events
  • Registration – membership/competition
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years office/leadership experience
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and Publisher, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Music background and familiarity with foreign languages is a plus!
The Organization The World Piano Competition’s (WPC) mission is to enhance and enrich the quality of life of the Greater Cincinnati community, contribute to the strength and vitality of our communities through its performances, and seek to provide growth and lasting value in our communities. Our main event The World Piano Competition occurs annually June through July. The competition attracts 400-500 international competitors 3 to 30 years old. The WPC also arranges the Bach-Beethoven-Brahms Educational Outreach Program providing local youth personal interaction with classical music and world-class pianists.
