You can feel excitement in the air as edition two of this new cornerstone of the local theatre scene unfolds...the Second Annual Cincinnati Directors Competition! Like last year's successful event, this year's competition pits stage directors against one another in a display of their best work. Each contestant will present a 30-minute piece in hopes of being chosen Best In Show for a $500 grand prize. Second place will receive $250. Over the course of one weekend nine directors will showcase nine different short pieces.? They will be judged by combining the votes of a panel of working/hiring theatre professionals from around Cincinnati with ballots collected from the audience.
