Audition: Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings at Covedale Center for the Performing Arts

Performers may audition for either show, or both at these times.  If you are auditioning for both shows, please bring sheet music appropriate for each of the show requirements listed below.  

Requirements for FOREVER PLAID: PLAID TIDINGS:  This production will be comprised of four men.  Audtionees must be a minimum of 18 years of age to audition.  Bring one song in the style of the show (1950’s pop), with accompaniment in the correct key.  No a capella, tapes or CDs; pianist provided.  Pictures, résumés and a list of any known conflicts would also be advantageous.  Rehearsals will begin in late October.

FOREVER PLAID: PLAID TIDINGS will run December 13 – 23, 2007, at the Covedale Center for the Performing Arts.  All roles are paid positions.

This is a brand-new show that offers the best of Forever Plaid tied-up in a nifty package with a big Christmas bow on top! Filled with Christmas standards that have all been “Plaid-erized,” our boys are back to do their Christmas Special. At first they aren’t sure why they’ve returned, but a phone call from the heavenly Rosemary Clooney lets them know that they’re needed to put a little harmony into a discordant world.

Sprinkled among the Christmas offerings are audience favorites like their riotous three minute and eleven second version of “The Ed Sullivan Show” - this time featuring the Rockettes, the Chipmunks and The Vienna Boys Choir, and a Plaid Caribbean Christmas which puts the “Day-O” in Excelsis! This is one holiday treat that is truly “heaven-sent!”  Directed by Tim Perrino; Musical Director, Steve Goers, Choreographed Jennifer Perrino.
