ACTORS & DIRECTOR NEEDED: "Mischief" at CPI
Director and Actors Needed for a staged reading of a CPI's new play, Clinic Mischief
Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative (CPI) announces the urgent need for Director and performers for its Tuesday, April 15, 7:30 p.m., New Voices staged reading of a new play at the Aronoff Center for the Arts, Fifth Third Bank Theater in downtown Cincinnati.
Synopsis: This is not the first time Sam Dobbins has been in trouble. In fact, this may be his very last chance to prove he can make it in the working world. His big dreams get in the way. Can he mature before time runs out? Sam is WHITE (25), and in love with Bernice. Bernice is BLACK (25), and torn between Sam and Ted's interest. Ted is BLACK (30), and former boyfriend of Bernice. Jesse is BLACK female (50), and married to Art. Art is Black male (50), and married to Jesse.
There will be two rehearsals.? Actors / actresses will read scripts and there will be minimal blocking.? Please send short bios and photographs if available, to Bob Yates.
