We need 90 volunteers for ArtWorks Apprentice Interviews on Sat. April 12 and Sun. April 13! ArtWorks needs your help conducting interviews for 300+ teens applying to the 2008 ArtWorks Summer Program! Volunteers are needed for 3-4 hour shifts to conduct one-on-one scripted interviews with the teens. Each interview lasts about 20 minutes. After the interview, volunteers assess the teen applicant and provide feedback to help ArtWorks make their hiring decisions. We also need volunteers to help with applicant and portfolio check-in! Interviewing Summer Program applicants is the most rewarding volunteer experience connected to the ArtWorks Summer Program! We hope you can help! Number of volunteers needed:

• 90!
• Interviewers must be 21 years of age and older.
• Younger volunteers can work the check-in booths!

Qualifications:

• Interviewers must be professional, punctual, and possess excellent communication skills!

Volunteer times:

• Sat. April 12, 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. and/or 1:30 - 5 p.m.
• Sun. April 13, 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. and/or 1:30 - 5 p.m.
• Lunch will be provided for volunteers who work both shifts!

Location:

• Contemporary Arts Center, 44 E. 6th St. Downtown Cincinnati

Orientation (REQUIRED!):

• Tues. April 8, 11-11:30 a.m. or 5:30-6 p.m., at ArtWorks, 811 Race St., Downtown Cincinnati
• OR Sat. April 12, 10 a.m. or Sun. April 13, 10 a.m. at the Contemporary Arts Center (before interviews)
